Now that you're an adult woman, it's time to stop giving a @#$% about so many things.
That's right: To preserve your sanity, it's time to start letting go of some of the things you once cared deeply about. You don't need to hang onto them anymore.
You have my permission (not that you need a man’s permission!) to stop giving a @#$% about the following things:
Everyone has an opinion, and a lot of people will offer you theirs whether you ask for it or not. But that doesn’t mean that you have to listen – or follow their advice.
You’re going to meet a lot of naysayers in your life, and it’s time to stop giving a @#$% about their negativity.
No white after Labor Day? No horizontal stripes if you’re chubby? No clashing colors? No white socks with a black suit?
Who bleeping cares?!
What you wear isn’t going to make a difference in the state of the universe.
If you really want to wear something: Wear it. It doesn’t matter what body type you have or what the “rules” state. If you feel good wearing a particular piece, then there’s no reason you shouldn’t clothe yourself in it.
Every day that goes by is one more day that your ex has been out of your life – so why are you still obsessing?
You don’t need to stalk their Facebook page to make sure they’re as miserable as you are (or torture yourself with their newfound happiness if they’re doing well!). And you don’t need to dwell on whatever went down between you two. It’s history! And quickly becoming ancient history.
They didn’t give a crap about you. It’s time to stop giving a crap about them.
Everyone looks ridiculous when they’re cumming – whether it’s from passionate intercourse or maturbation. Don’t worry about it.
It’s better to have a genuine “O” – complete with a ridiculous facial expression – than to try and fake it and be left unsatisfied.
No friends are better than bad friends.
If your “friends” are making you miserable – ditch them. You’ll find others.
You’re at the point in your life where you really don’t need to give a @#$% about how others will perceive you if you’re not super “popular.” You’re not in high school anymore. And the real world doesn’t care about that kind of stuff. Be happy.
“Perfect” doesn’t exist. Focus on being healthy; nothing more.
I’m not just talking about random acts of nature or other accidents… I’m talking about the fact that you can’t control what others say, think, or do.
If someone doesn’t love you, it’s not your fault. It’s out of your control.
If they don’t love you, it’s their loss – and something you shouldn’t give a @#$% about.
The only thing you should give a @#$% about is your own happiness and the happiness of those you love (who do love you back).
Look after yourself, your friends, your family, and your pets… The rest will fall into place.
